Permanent makeup is a procedure that involves the application of pigments to enhance facial features. It is a technique that mimics the appearance of makeup, such as eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color. The process involves the use of a specialized tattooing device or manual handheld tool to inject the pigment into the skin's epidermis/dermal layer.
It has some of the same qualities, yet it is very different. Only specialists in micro-pigmentation can perform this procedure on the face; tattoo artists cannot. I use only the techniques, tools, and pigments specifically designed for micro-pigmentation procedures, making it safe, sterile, and painless.
Time-saving: Permanent makeup eliminates the need to apply makeup daily, saving time and effort in the morning routine.
Long-lasting results: Unlike traditional makeup, permanent makeup will last for a few years before it fades away.
Waterproof and smudge-proof: Permanent makeup is resistant to water and smudging because of the nature of how the pigment is applied.
Enhanced natural features: The procedure allows for subtle enhancements to the eyebrows, eyelashes, lips, and other facial features, resulting in a more polished and defined appearance.
Confidence booster: With permanent makeup, individuals can wake up feeling confident and ready to face the day without worrying about their makeup.
Camouflage imperfections: Permanent makeup can help conceal scars, uneven pigmentation, or other imperfections, improving overall facial symmetry.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, permanent cosmetics are safe when the technician is educated in the control of Blood Borne Pathogens and follows all Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines. Our studio was examined and approved by a health department inspector and received all necessary permits issued by the Orange County Health Department.
The average time required for a procedure is between two to four hours.
Some swelling and redness can be expected for up to 24 hours following a procedure. Cold compress helps to reduce any swelling around the eye area. The treated area must be kept clean. No makeup should be applied for several days.
Tricopigmentation, also known as scalp micropigmentation, is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that involves applying specialized pigments to the scalp to mimic the appearance of natural hair follicles. Using tiny needles, a practitioner creates a series of small, layered dots on the scalp, giving the illusion of fuller hair or a closely shaved head. This treatment is often used by individuals experiencing hair loss, thinning hair, or scalp scars. Tricopigmentation is semi-permanent, with results typically lasting 1-3 years, depending on factors like skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. The process is minimally invasive, requires little downtime, and can enhance confidence by providing a natural-looking hairline or density.
